We are in Fitzroy at the beautiful United Co. for October to run a special event as part of World Mental Health Day 2018.\n\nFREE tickets available here: https://funoctober.eventbrite.com\n\nWe have grown a huge community of people attending our events in Melbourne as they experience a showcase of amazing stories of personal, business and project failure and the wisdom and resilience learned from such experiences.\n\nFuckUp Nights is a global movement born in Mexico in 2012 to share public business failure stories with hundreds of people attending each event around the world. Each month speakers will be invited to talk about their FuckUp stories; we’ll learn about their biggest mistakes, what they learned, how they moved on- all whilst sharing invaluable advice along the way.\n\nThe speakers will candidly share in 7-10 minutes:\n\n* What their project / business was\n\n* What went wrong / How it affected their personal life / What they learned / What they would do differently.\n\nSpeaker 1: To be Announced\n\nSpeaker 2: To be Announced\n\nSpeaker 3: To be Announced\n\nAt the end of each person’s story, you’ll have a chance to ask questions- nothing too cheeky, but feel free to dig around.You’ll hear stories and advice you won’t get elsewhere - and these stories will (hopefully) put you in good stead to not make the same fuckups.\n\nAttendance is free, but we do ask you to register in advance at https://funoctober.eventbrite.com\n\nSupported by our partners United Co., KJR, Young Henrys, General Assembly Melbourne, Inspire9 & Collabosaurus\n\nFind out more at: https://www.facebook.com/FUNMelb/ & join the community at https://www.meetup.com/FuckUp-Nights-Melbourne/","venue":{"name":"United Co.","address":"425 Smith Street","city":"Fitzroy"},"community":"humans-make-mistakes","city":"Melbourne","imageUrl":"/media/archive/25bd0682f32418682e4498f3-display.webp","slug":"fuckup-nights-october-stories-about-failure-255218363","sources":[{"provider":"Meetup","url":"https://www.meetup.com/fuckup-nights-melbourne/events/255218363","savedAt":"2025-04-16T08:11:09.418Z"}]},"album":null}
